Leading Transport Transitions: an executive education programme for city leaders transforming urban mobility
Leading Transport Transitions is a tailored leadership programme to support city leaders transform urban mobility. Recognising unprecedented motorisation, persisting congestion, new risks of social exclusion and record levels of transport-related carbon emissions, this executive education programme helps city leaders build context-specific strategies for transitioning to affordable, safe, low-carbon and inclusive urban mobility.
The programme is organised and delivered by a strategic partnership between the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI), the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳). The collaboration brings together TUMI‘s expertise in facilitating urban mobility transformation and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳’s commitment to policy-oriented research and education for the betterment of society as one of the foremost social science universities in the world.
Urban95 Academy
Open to municipal leaders across the world, the Urban95 Academy is a new fully funded leadership programme delivered by ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Cities in partnership with the Bernard van Leer Foundation.
The programme aims to help municipalities understand how their work impacts early childhood development. The Academy will be built on three pillars: vision and analysis; strategy and delivery; and leadership.
Sustainable Urban & Regional Infrastructure Planning
This tailor-made training programme for National and Regional leaders from the Government of Peru is part of a knowledge transfer programme incorporated within the framework of the Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement Peru and the United Kingdom.
This training programme is designed to build the technical capacity within central regional government for the delivery of projects that mitigate flood risks from the El Niño phenomena.
