Careers with an Economic History Degree

Where can your skills take you?

2023-24 Careers Events for Economic History students

Economic History students develop a wide range of skills which makes them extremely well-placed to enter the job market. The ability to analyse complex historical and numerical date, think critically, develop original arguments and communicate them effectively puts our students at a great advantage when it comes to choosing a career path. Our students go on to work in finance and consultancy, accountancy, law, the civil service, teaching, research, digital marketing, with NGOs and charities, develop their own businesses and more.

Our students also have access to a departmental careers consultant from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Careers, which also offers tailored careers workshops and one to sessions throughout the year.

Finally, our students develop their experience and skills through the amazing range of volunteering opportunities offered through ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳'s Volunteer Centre.

Here are careers events for Economic History students taking place in for Autumn Term, 2023.
