Meet our speaker and chair

Nadia Calviño Santamaría () is First Vice-President of the Government of Spain and Minister for the Economy and Digital Transformation.

Iain Begg () is a Professorial Research Fellow at the European Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science. His main research work is on the political economy of European integration and EU economic governance.

Andrés Rodríguez-Pose () is the Princesa de Asturias Chair and a Professor of Economic Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Geography and Environment. He is the Director of the Cañada Blanch Centre at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.

The  () is a centre for research and graduate teaching on the processes of integration and fragmentation within Europe. In the most recent national Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) the Institute was ranked first for research in its sector.

The Cañada Blanch Centre () is a centre dedicated to promoting social innovation through dialogue, transferring knowledge and values, and betting on talent. The centre has worked to reinforce links between the United Kingdom and Spain, since its conception in 1993.
