Greenwich Piano Trio

Hosted by the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Arts Lunchtime Concert Series

Shaw Library, 6th Floor, Old Building

Join us for the first lunchtime concert of the new academic year which will be given by the Greenwich Piano Trio. Lana Trotovšek, will be on the violin, Heather Tuach on cello and Yoko Misumi on piano.

Since its formation in 2006, the group has won numerous prizes in the UK, Belgium and Italy, including the Solti Foundation and Tunnell Trust Awards, and the first prize of the Beethoven Society of Europe Chamber Music Competition. Greenwich Trio has been mentored by some of the greatest names in chamber music and has performed at renowned international festivals. They have  released recordings of Beethoven and Mendelssohn piano trios for Meridian Records, Beethoven’s ‘Archduke’ Trio for HedoneRecords and most recently recorded the complete Brahms Trios for Linn Records.

Piano Trio No 2 in C major op.87- Brahms

 Piano Trio in A minor- Ravel

The next lunchtime concert is on Thursday 5 October and will be performed by Sarah Trickey and Ivana Gavric.

Join the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Choir and Orchestra on Tuesday 5 December for the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Christmas Concert in the beautiful surroundings of St Clement Danes Church.
