Join us for this concert featuring violinist Antal Zalai and pianist Adam Heron.

A classical violinist of Roma ethnicity, Antal Zalai is the 1st Prize Winner at the 2004 Rodolfo Lipizer International Violin Competition in Italy. His artistic activities have included collaborations with such distinguished conductors as Fabio Luisi, Yoel Levi, Lawrence Foster, Ludovic Morlot, Gilbert Varga, Gábor Takács-Nagy, and Zoltán Kocsis as well as appearances at the Istanbul, Yuri Bashmet, George Enescu, Budapest Spring, and Sion international music festivals.

Adam Heron () was born in Hong Kong of Nigerian-Filipino descent. Adam is a prize-winning pianist who commands awards throughout the UK and overseas, including the esteemed Harriet Cohen Bach Prize of the Royal Academy of Music. He first rose to prominence with his television debut in 2018 as a BBC Young Musician piano finalist. At only twenty-four years old, he has already captivated audiences in over fifteen countries with his exceptional pianism, and undertakes a demanding schedule of international engagements, featuring solo recitals at distinguished concert halls. In 2016, the celebrated Chineke! Orchestra invited Adam to become one of its first concerto soloists. Adam is also a devoted collaborative pianist, composer, and conductor.

The lunchtime concert series will restart on Thursday 23 January with a performance by Trio Brontë.
