Meet our speaker and chair
Rocco Macchiavello is Professor of Management at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. His research focuses on how stakeholders collaborate to forge supply chains that foster sustainability. He blends conceptual frameworks from organisational economics, data analysis, fieldwork, and RCTs to test how supply chains function and how they can be leveraged for the betterment of society. He was awarded an ERC Grant for the project ‘Sharing Gains’, routinely collaborating with private companies, NGOs and international organisations.
Oriana Bandiera is Sir Anthony Atkinson Professor of Economics at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, a fellow of the British Academy, Econometric Society, CEPR, BREAD and IZA. She is co-editor of Econometrica, director of the Hub for Equal Representation at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and of the Gender, Growth and Labour Markets in Low-Income Countries programme at IZA. Oriana studies organisations and labour markets, how they affect the process of development, and how they are affected by it.
