About me

Dr. Aaron Clift is a ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Fellow in Cold War History. He is a historian of modern France and the global Cold War. His research interests include France and the French Empire in the Cold War; anticommunism in France and globally; and, the international history of decolonisation in Southeast Asia and North Africa. He received his BA from the University of Victoria, his MA from the University of Toronto, and his DPhil from the University of Oxford. Prior to coming to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, he was a Postdoctoral History Scholar at the University of Calgary and a Lecturer in Modern History at Jesus College, Oxford.
