The Estate of John Gibson has established the John Ying Wah Gibson Prize Fund which awards prizes annually to students on any programme run by the Department of Mathematics. John is remembered as a dedicated student who made excellent contributions to his cohort, in particular in offering support to his fellow students.
The John Ying Wah Gibson Citizenship Prize
Awarded by the Department of Mathematics to a student of good academic achievement who demonstrates strong service to society and the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ community. One prize of £500 will be awarded annually. The application form is available on the Departmental Moodle sites for each programme.
