PhD Topic: Long Term Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Adolescent Health Behaviour

PhD Supervisors: Dr Matteo Galizzi and Dr Christian Krekel

Hannah’s research investigates the long-term consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent health behaviour. In particular, she is interested how changes in mental health among adolescents during the height of the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK impact this population’s current and future health behaviours, including health-related risk taking and healthcare utilisation.

Hannah holds an MSc in the Psychology of Economic Life from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, an MA in modern and contemporary literature and culture from UCL, and an BA in Psychology and English from Hamilton College.

Alongside completing this degree, Hannah serves as a behavioural scientist at The Behaviouralist, a behavioural science consultancy and research group based in London. In this role, Hannah works on projects across a range of sectors, including sustainability, transportation, health and wellbeing, and organisational function.

Before joining the behaviouralist, Hannah held the position of English Department Chair at an independent school in the US and has many years of experience teaching students ages 11 to 18.
