Luc's background is in Economics and he has a master in Behavioural Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. Luc's PhD focused on the dynamic relationship between subjective wellbeing, self-generated thoughts and personality.
His first projects make use of a large-scale longitudinal dataset on individual-specific characteristic, thoughts and wellbeing. These projects focus primarily on the distinction between evaluative and experienced reports of thoughts and wellbeing, while providing an account of the relationships in question on global, daily, weekly and activity-based levels.
In the first terms of 2019, Luc was involved in the first project as a mentor and published several pieces in various ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ student publications, including the Clare Market Review and The Beaver. He is also the author of The 4-Day Diary of an Economics Student and frequently posts his writings (critical and creative alike) on his personal blog.
