The Turkish Cypriot village of Lurucina is encamped by a militarised border. Many villagers have turned to producing Zivania, a Cypriot pomace brandy, which is the primary attraction for outsiders visiting the biannual village festival. Zivania production presents the locals with an opportunity for revitalising their village.
