All entrants must be the principal creator(s) of work(s) submitted and as such will retain copyright in the work(s) as author/presenter. All entrants agree to assign to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ a non-exclusive licence to use, share, reproduce and publish the submitted work(s) under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence and to edit, convert to other formats, create derivatives, and store any content that relates to the entry as may be required for publishing under said licence.
Use, reproduction and publication will include, but not necessarily be limited to, exhibition, ‘live’ and via the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ website, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Research Online, YouTube and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ print publications.
All entrants whose work(s) submitted to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Festival research competition include(s) any material which is the intellectual property, including copyright, of another party, must seek and secure the necessary permissions for their inclusion, and ensure that these permissions are compatible with Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence under which ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ intends to publish the submitted work(s).
Data protection
All entrants consent to the use of their personal data being processed for the purposes of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Festival research competition and subsequent publishing. Entrants’ personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Data Protection legislation.
Publicity and attendance
If their work is shortlisted for exhibition, all applicants within reasonable travelling distance agree to be available to attend the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Festival research competition prize-giving at which their work will be exhibited and/or judged.
All applicants consent to their involvement in appropriate publicity for ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Festival research competition, which may include advertising prior to the event, filming of the event and media coverage. ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ may distribute the recorded event via its website, social media or other electronic means.
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence
The copyright holder in all works submitted to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Festival research competition agrees to the limited transfer of rights to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in order that ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ can use, store and publish the works under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike licence, which has the following restrictions:

In no way are any of the following rights affected by this licence:

- rights other persons may have either in the work itself or in how the work is used, such as publicity or privacy rights.
