Dr. Martha Geiger Mwenitete is Strategic Manager at Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and Assistant Professorial Research Fellow. She holds a PhD from the University of Warwick on the intersections of class, gender and labour between humans and non-human animals. Her list of interdisciplinary publications can be found .
Dr. Martha has gained valuable research, project management, and leadership experience in Canada, UK, Ethiopia, South Africa and Botswana. Prior to joining ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, she worked as a senior research associate at the University of Bristol where she led a study in Ethiopia investigating the socio-economic dimensions of the lives of working animals.
