CSR Europe and Huawei bring together 150 people from businesses, politics, international organisations and NGOs to discuss the evolving role of ICT in the economy and its impact on productivity and employment.
This conference will revolve around the presentation of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Consulting report The Evolving Role of ICT in the Economy, written by Mirko Draca, Ralf Martin and Rosa Sanchis-Guarne (June 2018). The study analyses employment trends and the impact of technologies such as Autonomous Vehicles and AI at work.
These new technologies underpinning the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics, are reshaping the concept of work and force us to rethink the way it is organised.
Policymakers and representatives from different industries will come together on the 11th of October in Brussels to explore how technological change is a major driver of growth and development. What is the impact of digital transformation on the labour market and consequently on lifelong education, economic value, jobs and inequality? And how can companies and stakeholders collaborate to prepare our citizens for the digitalisation and embrace new ICT solutions?
