ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳E-CEFTA Academic Network
ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳E Research on South Eastern Europe, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Enterprise and the CEFTA Secretariat have set up the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳E-CEFTA Academic Network to encourage the production of new research on trade in the CEFTA region and to facilitate academic dialogue and knowledge exchange with the policy community.
The Academic Network aims to support the production of high quality research on trade in the Balkans by covering wider economic and non-economic issues, including in the field of legal studies, public administration and political science, as well as desinging and implementing new research methods.
The Network seeks to encourage collaboration and synergies across academics in the region, as well as engage - through research - more deeply with policy, not only in a ‘downstream’ fashion (i.e. communicating research findings to policy users), but also ‘upstream’ (i.e. engaging with policymakers at the stage of policy design).
