We are very proud to congratulate former PhD student on being named at (MIT), the most prestigious title at the institution. Having gained his MSc at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, Daron continued his research studies with us and was awarded his PhD in 1992. He subsequently stayed as a Lecturer in Economics at the School before moving on to MIT.
Daron’s principal interests are political economy, development economics, economic growth, economic theory, technology, income and wage inequality, human capital and training, and labour economics. His research work has produced far-ranging and influential studies.
