Beyza is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. Her main research interests lie in the intersection of development, political and behavioral economics, with a focus on causally identifying the institutional practices and social norms that hinder progress in developing countries.
Beyza holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bogazici University and a Master’s degree from LMU Munich. Before joining the programme, she worked as a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Chicago.
