Ben is a PhD Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interests are Public Economics, Labour Economics, and Education.
Ben obtained his MSc in Economics from the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and his BSc in Economics and Business from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before joining the prgramme, he was a pre-doctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Economics at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Between his studies, he worked as a research assistant in the Labor, Pensions and Education Department at the Dutch research institute CPB. He has previously worked on topics related to the determinants of health inequality, the health effects of a pension reform in the Netherlands, as well as the impact of minimum wages.
