Meet our speakers and chair
Odile Renaud-Basso has been the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since November 2020. She was previously Director General at the French Treasury where she oversaw the development of France's economics policies, leading on European and international financial affairs, trade policies, financial regulation and debt management. In this position, she also served as Vice-President of the European Economic and Financial Committee, deputy to the G7 and G20 groups and French Governor or Alternate Governor of the World Bank, EBRD and African Development Bank. She was also Chair of the Paris Club.
Eric Neumayer is ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ President and Vice Chancellor on an interim basis.
Catherine de Vries is Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University. Catherine is also a Research Associate at the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy, the Bocconi COVID Crisis Lab, the Bocconi Lab in European Studies and the CLEAN Unit for the Economic Analysis of Crime of the BAFFI-CAREFIN research center.
Angelo Martelli is Assistant Professor in European and International Political Economy at the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ European Institute. He is Programme Director for the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Bocconi Double Degree in European International Public Policy and Politics.
