Michaela Kreyenfeld is Professor of Sociology at the Hertie School (Berlin). Her research focuses on family behaviour, life course analysis and social policy. She is very active in policy consulting. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Family Issues of the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. She also member of the Expert Commission for the “Ninth Family Report of the German Government”.
