About me

Manna Mostaghim is a researcher on the provision and politics of sexual and reproductive health in the UK. She has researched the access and rights that individuals have within the frameworks and institutions that govern contraception and assisted reproductive treatments within the NHS.

Her research on the provision of sexual and reproductive health within the NHS has been conducted within her PhD and with external organisations such as the Reproductive Justice Initiative (formerly Decolonising Contraception) and Abortion Rights.

Beyond her focus on sexual and reproductive health, she has also assisted projects within ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳’s Health Policy Department on pandemic preparedness (with an especial focus on gender). She conducted research on maternal and infant nutrition in Nepal for UNICEF. As well as assisting on a project that provided the Welsh Government an overview of the reforms to NHS Dental in Wales at Bangor University.
