How will Pakistan-US relations unfold during the Biden-Harris administration?

This presentation will focus on Pakistan-US relations during the Biden-Harris administration while examining three major realities. Firstly, the India-Pakistan standoff, particularly on the Kashmir conflict. Secondly, how the Democratic Party will deal with the situation in Afghanistan, particularly the one related to US-Taliban accord reached in February 2020 and thirdly, the human rights situation, particularly in India and in Pakistan.

Other issues which will be analysed by Moonis Ahmar relate to America’s age-old strategic ties with Pakistan; Financial Action Task Force (FATF) decision to keep Pakistan in the grey list till June this year; prospects of resumption of U.S economic and military assistance to Pakistan and the state of anti-Americanism in Pakistan particularly in the context of situation in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
