The mixed methods study makes use of secondary time series data from the World Values Survey, primary household survey data, and qualitative interviews.
Sophie holds a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Harvard University and an MSc in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Prior to her PhD, she worked as a programme manager developing and delivering community initiatives in partnership with grassroots and international development organisations in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
