The IR Department supports the work of the Grimshaw Club for International Relations, the London School of Economics’ oldest student society.

Established in 1923, the Grimshaw Club is open to students studying all subjects, with an interest in international affairs. They run a wide range of events throughout the year, from hosting regular informal discussions with students and academics, panel conversations with diplomats and foreign dignitaries, embassy visits around London, to annual trips visiting foreign countries, and the Diplomacy Ball held in Winter Term.

The Grimshaw Club also publishes the Grimshaw Review, the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳’s only peer-reviewed International Relations journal open to both undergraduate students and postgraduate students.

The society also hosts a regular IR podcast series, Grimshaw Speakers and Grimshaw Spotlight, as well as an international affairs blog, the .

The membership is available to current students. ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ faculty and alumni can purchase Associate Membership to attend events.

A selection of their upcoming events can be found on their website:

The Grimshaw Club also has an active alumni network with a dedicated newsletter and LinkedIn group.
