(Un)Resolved: An Informal Debate about Current Events


These informal sessions put the spotlight on a topical issue in IR in a friendly debate with your fellow IR students. Conversational and casual, (Un)Resolved is a brilliant way to put your knowledge of IR into practice!

Hosted by a member of IR faculty, these sessions are open to all students in the Department of International Relations.

Join Dr Jennifer Jackson-Preece, Associate Professor in Nationalism in both the Department of International Relations and the European Institute, to discuss:

Is the current global refugee system, based on the 1951 Refugee Convention, still adequate for today's migration challenges?

Dr Jackson-Preece's research focuses on normative responses to nationalism, ethnic conflict and religious intolerance; human and minority rights; multiculturalism; minorities and migration in Europe.
