Michael Yahuda graduated in Modern Chinese Language and Literature in 1963 at the School of Oriental Studies, the University of London and was awarded an MSc Econ with a mark of distinction in the Government and Politics of China from there in 1966. I then became a lecturer in the Department of Politics at the University of Southampton,1966-1973. From 1973 until my retirement in 2003 I was lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Reader and finally Professor in the Department of International Relations, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Since 2003 I have been a Visiting Scholar at the Sigur Center for Asian Studies, The Elliott School for International Affairs, The George Washington University.
He is the author of over 250 scholarly articles and book chapters and of the totally revised 4th edition of The International Politics of the Asia Pacific (edp February/March 2019).
