Dr Luke McDonagh and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Law School Visiting Fellow Prof Martin Kretschmer (University of Glasgow) have contributed a submission to the UK government’s consultation on Copyright and Artificial Intelligence, which closed on 25 February 2025.
Dr McDonagh and Prof Kretschmer were part of a group of researchers, including those at the University of Glasgow, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, and the University of Cambridge, who wrote a detailed 45-page submission. The submission is now published as a report by the University of Glasgow’s Centre for the Regulation of the Creative Economy (CREATe).
Dr McDonagh and Prof Kretschmer will also participate in an ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Public Event on Artificial Intelligence, Intellectual Property and the Creative Industries on Tuesday 4th March at 6.30pm in the Sheikh Zayed Lecture Theatre.
