What is the sound of a world on the move? How is music a form of migration? How are musicians and artists in contemporary London, and beyond, thinking about diaspora and migration in the age of the global refugee?

This hybrid evening will mix conversation with live musical performance to explore these themes as they intersect with the work of Duval Timothy whose music, visual art, videos, and clothing move between London and Freetown, Sierra Leone. Together they will explore connections between earlier eras of musical and cultural migration to London and contemporary migrations and diasporas across the walled world of the 21st century.
