MSc Study and Assessment Support

  • Assessment queries: MSc Students with queries relating to assessed work outside of term can email Media.Assessment@lse.ac.uk with their questions and these will be forwarded to a member of faculty on duty who will be able to assist. Please do not email individual members of academic staff with your queries.
  • Submission of assessed work: For full information on submission deadlines, formatting, citation styles and submission procedures please refer to the Assessment and Feedback webpage. Please also check the Moodle page for your individual course.
  • Extensions: If you face unforeseen difficulties, you may apply for an extension for summative coursework for MC courses on the following webpage. Please note the extension webform will open up to two weeks prior to each assessment deadline.
  • Working in Departmental spaces: MSc students studying in the Department are welcome to come to Departmental space space to work in outside of term. The Silverstone Room and Student Common Room are both free to use.
  • Check ahead of your assessments.
  • The Digital Skills Lab have lots of self-study resources available - visit the .
  • Find Library resources and tools to support your studies, and access information about Library workshops on Moodle. You can .

Wellbeing Support over the Break

Wherever you are, we understand that you may need advice and support. Key services to take note of:

  • The ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳  webpage lists the support available to all students outside of term.
  • Wherever you are in the world, you can access ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳’s  by phone, live chat, SMS, and WhatsApp.
  • The  provides access to counsellors and mental health advisors outside of term. If you require urgent assistance, or are worried about someone close to you, please visit our  for advice.
  • If you need to access medical care in the UK, visit the  to find local GP, Urgent Care, Hospital and Dentist provision. If there is a medical emergency, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.
  • If you’re staying in a hall of residence, your hall wellbeing teams are available outside of term and can be contacted via the webpage.
