Course(s) critical to assessment: Students must pass the dissertation course to be awarded the degree. |

Additional criteria for the award of Merit/Distinction (scheme section 2): Students must achieve mark of at least 60 in the dissertation course and pass all International History (HY) coded courses to be awarded a Distinction overall. |
