This course is available on the LLM (extended part-time), LLM (full-time) and University of Pennsylvania Law School LLM Visiting Students. This course is available with permission as an outside option to students on other programmes where regulations permit.

Course content
This course will look at the regulation of the market for corporate control in the United Kingdom and the United States. The course focuses in particular on the regulation of the bid process and takeover defence regulation in the UK and the US. For a full topic and reading list, see the Moodle web site.
Teaching
20 hours of seminars in the MT. 2 hours of seminars in the ST.
There will be a Reading Week in Week 6 of MT.
Formative coursework
1,500 word essay.

Assessment
