The Education Research and Policy Hub (EduHub) in the Department of Social Policy brings together permanent members of faculty, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Fellows, post-doctoral researchers and PhD students working on a broad range of educational issues. Coming from sociology, economics and political science among others, our interdisciplinary research covers early years, schools, vocational education and training, and higher education, in addition to cross-cutting issues, such as educational governance, inequalities (including SEN), and gender.
Our international group studies education and policy in different places; not only do we produce world-class research, we are also committed to promoting learning between countries and regions of the world. The work in the EduHub is thus informed equally by the two key missions of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳: “to understand the causes of things” and “for the betterment of society”. Members of the EduHub ascribe great importance to engaging with non-academic audiences and policy-making communities.
