Milt is a guest lecturer in the Statistics department, currently teaching ST202. He is also the lead lecturer for the introductory statistics course ME116 at the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Summer School. He has a strong interest in teaching and statistical communication, with a particular emphasis on the use of interactive techniques in the classroom.
In his professional work, he is a senior quantitative analyst at a sports betting consultancy, where he focuses on the statistical modelling of sports and financial markets. He is mainly interested in problems related to state-space modelling and high-dimensional filtering. He studied mathematics at Cambridge as an undergraduate, then joined ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ where he completed his MSc and PhD in statistics. He has also taught at Imperial College and the London Business School.
