OfS Transparency Return

The figures published here present ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ degree outcomes data for the academic year 2021-22. Going forward, we will publish similar datasets annually which will show the progress we are making to widen access and support the success of students from underrepresented groups across the UK.

The new articulates an ambitious programme of work which places equality and diversity at the heart of our campus community. Through our we have committed to increasing the participation and on-course success of students from key groups underrepresented in higher education. The APP sets out our five-year plan to achieve these goals, encompassing the whole student journey, from enrolment to securing graduate employment. 

The information on these pages shows:

The number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.

It also shows these numbers by reference to:

The gender of the individuals to which they relate

Their ethnicity

Their socio-economic background.

EIMD – English Index of Multiple Deprivation. This is a postcode-based measure which the Office for Students uses as a proxy for socioeconomic background rather than a direct measure.
