ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Summer School
London is one of the most exciting and culturally-diverse cities in the world. Being a part of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Summer School will give you the opportunity to study and live centrally in one of the most global cities in the world. Our extensive range of academic courses is complemented by a professional skills programme designed to develop your career planning, and an organised social programme that gives you a chance to see some of the sights of London and interact with peers from around the globe.
EMFSS students are welcome to apply to attend ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Summer School to experience life on campus and earn credits towards their University of London qualification. A bespoke social programme provides EMFSS students an opportunity to connect with peers from your global UOL cohort as well as Summer School students from around the world. An exclusive networking event and Senate House tour of the University of London is also offered each summer for EMFSS students.
EMFSS students are entitled to claim a 15% discount on their Summer School fees. In addition, EMFSS students who take two Summer School courses at the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ can now transfer credit to their EMFSS Degree.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ General Course
Students who have completed at least four full courses on their University of London EMFSS degree programme are also able to apply for admission to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ General Course, which allows students from across the world to spend a at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and claim credit for the successful completion of relevant courses. Before applying you should pay close attention to the start date of your EMFSS programme and the dates at which you will receive your course results, and how this aligns with the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ General Course start date (or year of entry).

Note: If you choose to study at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ for a year through the General Course while completing your Universition of London EMFSS degree, upon successful completion you will still be awarded a University of London qualification.
Applicants should also have completed at least two years of in-person university-level study, to include the year immediately preceding entry to the programme, at an institution located outside the United Kingdom by the time they begin studying on the General Course.
Transferring to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ for 2nd year entry
EMFSS students are welcome to apply to the 2nd year of entry of a relevant undergraduate degree at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Please bear in mind that transfer is not automatic and admission is highly competitive, as a limited number of places are available for both first and second year entries.
To pursue this option, you should ensure to select courses on your University of London EMFSS programme carefully. Your courses should match the content of the first year of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ internal degree you wish to transfer to, as closely as possible. You should also pay close attention to the start date of your programme and the dates at which you will receive your course results, and how this aligns with the application deadline and start date of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ programme you wish to transfer to.
You would then apply through in the normal way, stating that you wish to apply for second year entry.

Postgraduate studies
A number of EMFSS graduates choose to continue their studies at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ by applying to complete a postgraduate qualification. As an ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ postgraduate student, you would be exposed to state-of-the-art social sciences research, and have the opportunity to learn from the academics at the forefront of that research. By undertaking a postgraduate qualification at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, you will be able to pursue your interests in an intellectually stimulating and challenging environment while contributing to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ community’s daily intellectual life - participating in projects, discussions and events with fellow students, academics, and key contributors from across disciplines.
