Prior to joining the Department, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics at Harvard University. I obtained my PhD in Economics at the University of Zurich. My research aims to contribute to our understanding of what drives the (unequal) distribution of people and economic activity across space, with a focus on the role of transportation infrastructure and urban forms.
