About me

Lucrecia is a PhD student in Human Geography and Urban Studies (ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ PhD Studentship). Her current research focuses on urban activism, particularly on women’s social movements. She plans on conducting ethnographic field work in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She holds a MSc in Urbanisation and Development from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ with Distinction. Her Master’s dissertation won the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ MSc in Urbanisation and Development Best Dissertation Prize and the George and Hilda Ormsby Best Dissertation in Department (Geography and Environment) Joint Prize (2018). In 2015, she participated as a Special Program for Urban and Regional Studies (SPURS) fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on urban studies and development. She also holds a Bachelor in International Relations from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).
