EDI in the Department of Health Policy
The Department's EDI Committee acts as the point of contact and forms the forum for monitoring, promoting, and protecting equity and diversity at the Department, among staff and students.
Purpose of having an EDI Committee is to:
- Review and monitor department policies and processes with regard to their impact on equity and diversity and, where appropriate, making recommendations for change;
- Promote an environment where concerns about equity and diversity can be freely raised and discussed;
- Promote a greater awareness and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion; encourage participation; and contribute to these initiatives.
