The Advisory Board exists to provide the Director of the Centre with an external perspective. The Board is comprised of members selected for their ability to provide the benefit of their expertise as commissioners or users of research in the field of women, peace and security.
Dr Susan Atkins CB was the first Service Complaints Commissioner for the UK Armed Forces (2007 – 2015) and former Director of Women and Equality in the Cabinet Office.
Professor Christine Chinkin CMG FBA, is Professorial Research Fellow in the Centre for Women, Peace and Security, of which she was Founding Director from 2015-2018. Read more.
